Adamstown

The capital of the Pitcairn Islands and one of the smallest capitals on earth, Adamstown is home to a few dozen residents on a remote British Overseas Territory in the southern Pacific Ocean. A steep path called the Hill of Difficulty links the jetty to the settlement, which sits in hilly terrain above the water. Ham radio remains the primary means of communication, alongside satellite internet and telephone.
