Alassio
Savona · Italy
A sandy-beached resort town on the Italian Riviera in Liguria, Alassio draws visitors year-round — as a bathing destination in summer and a health resort in winter — thanks to a mild climate sheltered by a mountain chain to the north. The pedestrianised cobbled Budello runs through the centre, lined with bars and restaurants, while the Muretto di Alassio, a wall covered in signed ceramic tiles, is a local landmark. A pier, the Molo di Alassio, offers views back over the town and bay.
