Bartin · Türkiye
A Black Sea port town in Turkey's Bartın Province, Amasra sits on a headland flanked by two sheltered harbours and two small islands, with beaches and forested surrounds drawing heavy summer tourism. The town has a real café and restaurant scene for its size, including fish restaurants, and a castle, museum, and lighthouse among its main sights. It is the hometown of musician Barış Akarsu, who dedicated his final album to the town in 2007.
