Apra Harbor, on the western side of Guam, is widely regarded as one of the finest natural ports in the Pacific Ocean, bounded by Cabras Island and the Glass Breakwater to the north and the Orote Peninsula to the south. Beyond its role as home to Naval Base Guam and the Port of Guam, the harbor draws recreational visitors for boating, surfing, and scuba diving.
