Baoshan

A large city in western Yunnan with a walkable centre and a dense café and restaurant scene, Baoshan sits on the southern edge of the Hengduan Mountains, where the Lancang, Nu, and Longchuan rivers run through from north to south. Historically known as Yongchang, it borders Myanmar to the west and serves as the second-largest metropolitan area in western Yunnan after Dali.
