Bembibre

Bembibre, in the El Bierzo region of León, is a small town on the Boeza and Noceda rivers with vineyards in the surrounding area and a café and restaurant scene that is unusually rich for its size. Its historic centre was designated a Conjunto Histórico in 2023, and its Festival de Exaltación del Botillo — a celebration of a local cured meat — earned International Tourist Interest status in 2025. A couple of old churches round out the sights.
