Bijie

This large city in northwestern Guizhou Province where the Wu River has its source, with the Wumeng Mountains running through its territory and a landscape shaped by karst terrain and highland hills. Bijie sits at the junction of Guizhou, Yunnan, and Sichuan provinces, with the Chishui River tracing its eastern edge and several other rivers crossing the prefecture. The Daotianhe Reservoir, built in 1965, lies just north of the urban centre.
