Brookings

Home to South Dakota State University, Brookings is a college town in eastern South Dakota with a walkable centre full of cafés and restaurants. The South Dakota Art Museum and the Children's Museum of South Dakota are both based here, and the annual Brookings Summer Arts Festival draws visitors each year. It serves as the county seat of Brookings County, a short drive north of Sioux Falls.
