Bzou is a modest Moroccan town in the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains, on the road between Beni-Mellal and Marrakesh, where the commune spreads across mountain slopes and along the banks of the Oued el Abid river. The town is nationally known for producing high-quality handmade fabric used in the tailoring of the djellaba, the traditional Moroccan garment, with local agriculture also centred on olives, olive oil, and honey.
