Part of Colombia's Coffee Cultural Landscape UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2011, Calarcá is a city in the Quindío department founded in 1886 during the Antioquian colonization era. A short distance from the departmental capital Armenia, it sits along the Colombian coffee-growing axis and offers a walkable centre with a dense café and restaurant scene, alongside scenic viewpoints in the surrounding mountain terrain.
