Cauterets

This spa town and ski resort in the French Pyrenees, Cauterets sits along the Gave de Pau river within the Pyrénées National Park, surrounded by mountain scenery and four Natura 2000 protected zones. It carries an unusually lively café and restaurant scene for a village its size, and the wider area includes the Gaube and Vignemale among its natural sites.
