Cwmaman

Former coal-mining village in the hills south of Aberdare, Cwmaman sits along the River Aman and is known as the place where the rock band Stereophonics formed, with two of its members born here. Several reservoirs above the village are reachable on foot along the river, and the wider region sits near a UNESCO World Heritage site.
