Dapaong
Togo
A commercial town in the mountains of northern Togo, Dapaong sits close to the Burkina Faso border with a compact centre of cafés and restaurants. Its name means "new market" in Moba, reflecting its identity as a trading hub. The town serves as the administrative seat of both the Tône prefecture and the Savanes region, and has been twinned with Issy-les-Moulineaux since 1989.
