Darkhan

Mongolia's third-largest city and a major industrial centre, Darkhan sits a few hours north of Ulaanbaatar by rail, connected by train to both the capital and the country's two neighbouring nations. The city divides into Old Darkhan and New Darkhan districts, and has seen significant construction investment in recent years. Mountains are visible from the city, and water is within easy reach.
