Dhermi
Albania
A village on Albania's Ionian coast with a beach stretching several kilometres, backed by the Ceraunian Mountains and served by an unusually dense concentration of cafés and restaurants for its size. Built on a mountain slope above the shore, Dhërmi sits within Himarë Municipality on the Albanian Riviera, with the monastery of St. Theodhori rising on a hill at one end of the beach. The local population is largely ethnic Greek, speaking a variant of the Himariote dialect.
