Diamante

This pocket-sized coastal town on Calabria's Tyrrhenian shore, Diamante lends its name to the Diamante citron, a variety still grown in the region. The town has a real café and restaurant scene for its size, sits directly on the water, and in 2021 received the Bandiera Blu designation awarded to Italian seaside localities meeting quality standards. Mountains are close by, and several UNESCO World Heritage sites lie within the wider region.
