Founded in the 13th century by Raja Dungaria Bhil, Dungarpur is a town in southern Rajasthan known for a distinctive architectural style visible in its palaces and historic buildings. The Som and Mahi rivers run through it, separating it from Udaipur and Banswara, and the surrounding hills support a variety of wildlife and bird species.
