This modest village in southwest Saskatchewan best known as the site of the 1994 discovery of a Tyrannosaurus rex skeleton nicknamed "Scotty." The T.rex Discovery Centre, opened in 2003 and operated by the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, was built around that find and includes the RSM Fossil Research Station. Eastend sits close to the Montana and Alberta borders in a part of the province that also offers access to nearby mountains.
