Erding

This Bavarian town a short drive northeast of Munich is home to the Erdinger Weissbier brewery, one of the world's largest wheat-beer producers, and to what is claimed to be Europe's largest spa. A walkable historic centre holds a concentration of churches, and Munich Airport is only a short distance away, making Erding a practical base as well as a destination in its own right.
