Fareham
TLJ35 · United Kingdom
Walkable market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour in south-east Hampshire, Fareham sits between Portsmouth and Southampton with a centre full of cafés and listed historic buildings. The town has a long manufacturing history: its distinctive red bricks, known as Fareham Reds, were used in the construction of the Royal Albert Hall, and it was once a significant centre for strawberry growing and iron forging, associated with the ironmaster Henry Cort.
