Fayzabad

Fayzabad, the provincial capital of Badakhshan in northeastern Afghanistan, sits alongside the Kokcha River in mountain terrain and serves as the main commercial hub of the Pamir region. The city has bazaars, public parks, hotels, restaurants, and shrines of historical importance, alongside Badakhshan University.
