Fillmore
Millard County · United States
Fillmore, a compact city in Utah's Millard County, served as the capital of the Utah Territory from 1851 to 1856, and the original Territorial Statehouse from that era still stands. The city takes its name from Millard Fillmore, the thirteenth U.S. president, who was in office when the county was established. Mountains lie close by, and the surrounding high desert landscape gives the area a distinct character.
