Goulmima

This agricultural oasis town in Morocco's Drâa-Tafilalet region, Goulmima sits along the Wadi Gheris river fed by the central High Atlas mountains, with a café and restaurant scene that punches above its size. The town grew as a fortified ksar settlement, and Ksar Goulmima — one of the most significant in the Tafilalet area — is currently being restored while still housing several hundred residents.
