A town in North Rhine-Westphalia sitting on the river Erft, Grevenbroich has a walkable centre with cafés, restaurants, and a concentration of historic churches. It lies in the triangle between Düsseldorf, Cologne, and Mönchengladbach, with all three cities within easy reach, and is also known for the Frimmersdorf Power Station, once among Europe's least carbon-efficient power plants.
