Holbaek
Denmark
A waterfront town on Holbæk Fjord in northwestern Zealand, with a walkable centre full of cafés and restaurants and a working harbour that includes a marina and a ferry connection to the island of Orø. The town grew around a castle founded in 1236 by Valdemar Sejr and received market-town rights in 1286, making it one of the older urban settlements on Zealand. Rail links connect it to Copenhagen, Roskilde, and Kalundborg.
