Hukou

A township in Hsinchu County, Taiwan, with a café and restaurant scene and a concentration of churches that stand out for a place its size. Historically known as "Dawokou" and "Dahukou," Hukou sits on hilly terrain between Taoyuan and Hsinchu, and has grown since the 1970s into an industrial and high-tech corridor, with proximity to Hsinchu Science Park drawing technology industries to the area.
