Iğdır

This city in eastern Anatolia sitting at the foot of Mount Ağrı (Ararat), Turkey's highest peak, with roughly two-thirds of the mountain's area falling within the city's boundaries. The Aras River, which marks the border with Armenia, runs along the city's edge.
