Kant

A working industrial town in Kyrgyzstan's Chuy region, founded as a settlement in 1929 and sitting on the Bishkek–Balykchy road and rail line, with the mountains visible from town and Bishkek a short drive to the west. Kant has a modest local economy built around cement, dairy, and food production, with a market, cafés, and a stadium serving everyday life. The wider region holds several UNESCO World Heritage sites.
