Founded in 1908 by the ICA on the southwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee, Kinneret Moshava is a modest village in northern Israel sitting well below sea level in the Jordan Valley. It takes its name from ancient Kinneret and is distinguished from the nearby Kinneret Kibbutz to its south. The village sits directly on the water with the wider region ringed by UNESCO World Heritage sites.
