Lebu

This port town on the south bank of the Lebu River mouth in Chile's Bío Bío Region, with historic churches in the centre, scenic viewpoints in the surrounds, and direct access to the water. Capital of Arauco Province and the closest continental point to Easter Island, Lebu also administers Mocha Island offshore. The town sits roughly south of Concepción, the regional capital, with mountains within reach inland.
