Officially designated Canada's Country Music Capital, Merritt is a small city in British Columbia's Nicola Valley where the Nicola and Coldwater rivers meet. Dozens of bronzed handprints of country music stars line the streets, a legacy of the former Merritt Mountain Music Festival.
