Ness Ziona

Founded in 1883 as a Jewish agricultural settlement during the First Aliyah, Ness Ziona is a town in Israel's Central District with a compact centre of cafés and restaurants. The Israel Institute for Biological Research and the Weizmann Science Park are both within the city's jurisdiction. Declared a city in 1992, it sits between Rishon LeZion to the north and Rehovot to the south.
