Ngwesaung

Beach resort on Myanmar's Ayeyarwady coast, opened in March 2000 and newer than the nearby Chaung Thar Beach, Ngwesaung is geared toward visitors with larger holiday budgets. The beach is roughly a five-hour drive from Yangon, with bus connections from Yangon Central Railway Station. A café and restaurant scene has developed to serve the resort crowd.
