Billed as the Wine Capital of Canada by Tourism British Columbia, Oliver is a small town near the south end of British Columbia's Okanagan Valley, sitting along the Okanagan River by Tuc-el-nuit Lake. Vineyards and fruit orchards define the surrounding landscape, with grape and fruit production and agritourism among the town's core industries. A pocket-sized central core offers cafés and restaurants, and the lake and river provide easy water access.
