Omak

A small city on the Okanogan River in north-central Washington, Omak serves as the gateway to the Okanogan–Wenatchee National Forest and sits within reach of several state parks, including Conconully and Osoyoos Lake. Its name derives from a Salishan word meaning "good medicine" or "plenty," a reference to the area's favorable climate.
