Ormea

Little village in the Ligurian Alps near the Piedmont-Liguria border, Ormea sits on the Tanaro river with mountain terrain close on all sides and a concentration of scenic viewpoints in the surrounding area. For its size, it has a notable number of churches and a handful of cafés and restaurants, making it a workable base in the Alta Val Tanaro.
