Otranto

Italy's easternmost town, Otranto sits on the Adriatic coast of the Salento peninsula in Apulia, with a café and restaurant scene that holds a surprising number of options for its size. The old quarter clusters around a Norman cathedral and an imposing castle, and the town was recognised as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage site in 2010.
