This pocket-sized fishing town at the mouth of the Endau River on Malaysia's east coast, Padang Endau is one of the larger fishing ports on the peninsula's eastern seaboard, with trawlers working the South China Sea. The town straddles the Johor–Pahang state border, with the Endau Bridge — built in the early 1970s to replace a ferry crossing — linking both sides, and a clock tower marking the Pahang bank.
