Paphos
Cyprus
Coastal town in southwest Cyprus, Paphos sits on the water with a walkable centre dense with food, drink, and historic churches. The entire archaeological site has been under UNESCO protection since 1980, and the town was once a major centre of worship for the goddess Aphrodite. The town divides into two levels: Ktima, the commercial upper town, and the lower, seafront Kato Paphos.
