Pergamino

This city in northern Buenos Aires Province known as Argentina's textile hub and declared the national seed capital in 1997, Pergamino sits at the heart of one of the country's richest agricultural zones. Its walkable centre has a good spread of cafés and restaurants, and La Merced Square — with its church and town hall — draws visitors from surrounding towns, particularly at weekends. The Pergamino stream runs through the city and offers a quieter alternative to the nightlife scene.
