Port Stanley
Canada
This pocket-sized Lake Erie village in Ontario with a real café and restaurant scene for its size, Port Stanley sits at the mouth of Kettle Creek on the north shore. The explorer Adrien Jolliet landed here in 1669 during the first European traverse of the Great Lakes, and General Brock's expedition camped on the beach in 1812 while marching toward Detroit.
