Saly (also known as Saly Portudal) is a beach resort town on Senegal's Petite-Côte, south of Dakar, and the largest tourist centre in West Africa. Its hotels and residential complexes together offer a substantial number of beds, and the walkable centre has a dense concentration of cafés and restaurants. Mountains are visible from the area, and a UNESCO World Heritage site lies within the wider region.
