Settat
Settat Province · Morocco
Settat is a Moroccan city on the plateau midway between Casablanca and Marrakesh, known informally as the capital of the Chaouia region, with a walkable centre carrying a solid café and restaurant scene. The 17th-century Ismaili Kasbah, marked by an equestrian statue at the city's heart, is its most prominent historic site, and the Oued Ben Moussa river runs through the city, fed by springs and winter rains.
