Sikar

The largest city of Rajasthan's Shekhawati region, Sikar is known across India as a major hub for competitive-exam coaching — second only to Kota — drawing students to its many engineering and medical preparation institutes. The city also holds traditional havelis from its mercantile past and sits within reach of the Khatu Shyam Temple and Harsh Parvat, an Aravalli hill known for its historic temple and monsoon greenery.
