Stepanavan

This compact resort town in northern Armenia, Stepanavan sits on the Dzoraget River among the forests of the Lori plateau and Bazum mountains. It is best known as the base for visiting the nearby ruins of the walled city of Lori, and the town itself holds a museum dedicated to Stepan Shahumyan. A dendropark lies a short drive to the south.
