Town in Johor, Malaysia, known as a major entry point to Mount Ledang, the highest mountain in the state. Tangkak also carries the nickname "Fabric Town" for its concentration of textile shops, making it a practical stop for both mountain-bound travellers and shoppers. The town was developed in the late 19th century and sits as the administrative capital of Tangkak District.
