This town in southern Gabon sits on the banks of the Nyanga River, with mountains visible from the centre, and serves as the provincial capital of Nyanga. In 2025 it hosted the second edition of Gabon's national "Coups de libération" celebration on 30 August, bringing national attention to a town that otherwise sees relatively little tourist traffic but holds a Wikivoyage entry as a waypoint for independent travellers moving through the region.
