Trelleborg
Sweden
Sweden's southernmost town, Trelleborg sits on the Skåne coast with a busy ferry harbour connecting it to other Baltic ports. The surrounding Söderslätt plain is one of Sweden's main agricultural areas, and the town is sometimes called Palmstaden — Palm City — after the palms that line its southwestern approach, an unusual sight this far north.
