Wanda, a town in Misiones Province in north-eastern Argentina, draws visitors to its precious stone mines and sits just short of an hour's drive from Iguazú Falls, making it a common stop on the provincial tourist circuit. Forestry covers much of the surrounding land, and yerba mate cultivation is also part of the local economy. National Route 12 connects the town to Puerto Iguazú, Posadas, and Buenos Aires.
