Wichelen

A tiny Belgian municipality on the River Schelde in East Flanders, Wichelen celebrated its 1,050th anniversary in 2022 and comprises three similarly sized communities: Wichelen proper, Schellebelle, and Serskamp. The Molenbeek stream also runs through the area. The wider region holds UNESCO World Heritage sites.
